Two in one museum-style print from A Girl and Her Horse series with model Olivia Adams.
I spend my Thursdays at Exodus Farms in Anderson, CA where Foster children come to learn how to ride and care for horses. It's magical what happens when they mount their horse. They are more open to talk about their week even if its been very dim. I see a courage on them almost immediately. Emotions shift from victim to victor and smiles return. There is something truly special about this amazing animal God created. It's as though they were assigned to care and serve us at levels unavailable to others. I especially like when the kids discover that they too have the capacity to love in return. This image celebrates the healing that happens at Exodus Farms and anywhere else broken hearts have the pleasure of being touched by these amazing creatures.
